I actually disagree about the countdown – I think that Dylan cover is absolutely amazing (but what a source though) and personally the Shirley Manson track did nothing for me. But I have not got a fetish for female vocalists like Brian!!n

As far as leveling your speaking vs. music tracks, I would suggest normalizing your spoken audio track separately from the music tracks…this is of course assuming that you are using a multitracking application to insert and record tracks before mixing down into a single stereo track for publication. Aimee Mann is one of my favorites. Her version of "Observatory" is stellar, and beats Tilbrook's hands down. I was working while listening to Coverville today. Tilbrook's version was background noise; Aimee's version stopped me in my tracks.

FWIW, I preferred the 10 point scale from the last ep to the 5 point scale on this one. I felt a lot of 3.5s, which would be 7 on the 10-pt scale.

Doing my usual multi-tasking, reading with Coverville in the background. Got about half way through Samson and Delilah and stopped reading. Had to replay it once finished. The Rev would felt blessed if he could have heard it.

Brian, love the rating system for the tracks. The Graham Parker Smithereens cover is great. Is this the same track that is on the 1995 Attack of the Smithereens. Track 18 is listed as

Dinah – Thanks for the kind words. As far as the volumes go, I'll have to reluctantly retreat to a pretty lame ignorance defence. This was my first stab at recording everything and just puting the thing together proved challenging. I'll be looking for some on-line tutorials before the next one!

Agreed – it's really fun when Tina's on. She adds her own spice to the show. Also, she brings out a usually unseen side of you. We get to hear you interacting instead of just broadcasting. It's nice variety.

I particularly liked the theme from this musically challenged. It was clever without being off the wall. Props to that submitter. And I agree with your suggestion to level the speaking vs. music volumes. I too found that distracting. Other than that though, stellar quiz.
