I think that "old Chunk of Coal" was written by Billy Joe Shaver.
You are correct Dan. I remember hearing an interview where BJS said how proud he was when Johnny Cash recorded it. I looked into it a little and it appears that BJS first recorded it in 1981.
I love Zapruder Point's "When You Were Young"! And I'm glad Fiona Apple hasn't come up with anything new!
