FYI…. not everyone loves U2.
There has been allot of U2 from you recently.
Agreed!
A lot? Really? Fuuny, I was thinking the other day how little U2 we hear on the show. Just keep on doing what you're doing Brian. The variety is great!
Actually, looking back over the last few shows (and this week’s Who Did It Better), there _has_ been a slightly larger than usual amount of U2 covers on the show. Granted, this week it’s for Bono’s birthday, and a few of the other plays were on all-request shows, but it does seem like a bit moret. Don’t worry – the variety you hear on the show will continue, but you’ll definitely hear a little less of Bono and company on the show in the next few weeks!
Hey, thanks for the mention and the Audio Adrenaline song!! Was listening ever so contentedly at work and was shocked and thrilled to hear it. 😀 Totally enjoyed it, that was so great!
Well, it's all my fault. I suggested that Brian do something for Bono's birthday.
Great covers! My ears recognized Dead or Alive, but couldn't name the band without coming here. You're right, Brian, the Elbow cover has great depth! And the Elivs-ish track was surprising. It must be hard to make a bad cover of a U2 song, tho!
This was a great show, where can we find a copy of the Black Horizon cover of "When Love Comes To Town"?
