Fantastic from start to finish.
Unfashionable I know, but I love E.L.O!!
That Delgados cover of “Mr. Blue Song” is lovely… I got an ELO fan interested in the Delgados by playing that for him on my iPod over dinner with colleagues in San Francisco. The Delgados have collected their BBC Peel Sessions on a double CD that I found at Rasputin’s and that is now on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=206122012&s=143441 . Along with the ELO cover, it has a pretty daft cover of the Dead Kennedys’ “California Uber Alles” as the next track.
Great show. Hey, are the AudioEngine 2 speakers really as good as speakers with a subwoofer?
I really liked the LEO track. I found a download for it at:
