Brian,
Thank you so much for all the work that you put into the show every week. It is one of my favorite podcasts. We the listeners are so lucky to have you.
Happy Holidays to you, Tina, & Tristan.
Brian,
great show and kickoff to the coverville countdown! i promised the wife no work over the vacation but i’m sure i’ll have to sneek firing up the computer, and she’ll think i’m checking emails/work, but really i’ll be downloading the coverville countdown podcasts!
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
thanks for all podcasts.
Sitting here with the sniffles, but really enjoying the Coverville 2007 countdown. It reminds me of when I was kid listening to America’s Top 40, but better. Thanks so much!
Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Is this really the first year Rufus Wainwright’s “Hallelujah” makes the countdown? I find that hard to believe. I guess it sort of gets overshadowed by Jeff Buckley’s cover. I’m partial to the Rufus version because both he and Leonard Cohen are from my hometown of Montreal, so I gotta represent!
Nitpicking alert! Nitpicking alert!
Sorry this came so long after you initially posted this show, but holidays/families/blah blah blah:
‘Social Distortion’ was not Social Distortion’s debut album as Brian stated in the show. It was actually their third album – just their first on a major label. The hardcore classic ‘Mommy’s Little Monster’ was their debut – about 7 years before ‘Social Distortion’ came out.
Hey, I did say it was nitpicking.
Loved the show!
