I mentioned Wintergreen’s brilliant Atari 2600 E.T. game-inspired music video in the show. Here’s a link where you can check it out.
Also, make sure to check out the excellent Shifted Sound Podcast, hosted by my friend Shelby. If you liked the Wintergreen, Far From Frail, Mechanical Bride and The Apples tracks, you’ll like the style of music he features on his show.

Goodbye stranger seem more natural this way than the original, which I never thought should have been so up tempo in relation to the lyrics.
I also enjoyed The Drugs Don’t Work. The original is one of my favorites of all time.
Umbrella on the other hand…Sometimes a simple pop song should be left that way. what is an “umbrellER” anyway? Started out kind of spooky then just fell apart towards the end.
Woohoo! Electric didge solo! Is there any credible way for Fort Pastor to list “Influences: Rolf Harris” on their MySpace page?
Big Nick, don’t you know talent when you see it?! Listen to the “Court of King Caractacus” by Rolf and tell me that guy isn’t multi-talented. We’re happy to have him if you don’t want him 🙂
Yes, Brian, people still say “dongle”. At least they do in my house :-).
If you’re a Rolf Harris fan and wanna see something cool, watch this:

I would love to see Zep actually learn the song and record it.
Loved Rolf as a kid and still do!
That Apples cover was amazing! Great find there! You definitely need to find a way to get more horns in the podcast!
