You’ve simply got to make this an annual Cash-fest show Brian.
Loved the Brad Roberts – had a “man, that guy sounds like the guy from Crash Test Dummies” moment! What a voice!
And it was nice that you honored the 11th commandment – though must include Elvis Costello in a cover story:-)
I agree with Wayne – an annual Cash-fest sounds like a great idea
(is that almost a pun?)
Anyway, you can never have too many Johnny Cash covers – can’t wait to listen to it =)
Dave
You’ve probably already had people tell you about it, but there’s a commercial that played a while back for Levi’s that featured a great duet cover of “I Walk The Line.” You can see it here at youtube.
From what the Google tells me, the woman singing is named Megan Wyler and the man is Adem Ilhan, a member of a band from the UK called Fridge. If the song is ever released, or if you find something similar, I know it would make an awesome addition to any future Johnny Cash Cover Story.
Cookie Prison Blues is realllllly funny! Good Score!
