Didn't realize how Cyndi Lauper was one of the brighter spots of pop-rock of the 80s till I heard the show. Almost all the tracks caused a deep connect to emerge, nostalgia, youth, the vacuous hedonism of waiting for middle age. Great show, great music!
I had forgotten how much I liked Cyndi Lauper when I was a kid.
Although I knew second-hand what She Bop was about, I never was able to understand the lyrics enough to know how blatant it was until today.
I thought the very same thing when I listened! 🙂
Thanks for the theme — I loved it. What great songs & artists!
Thank you for this! I really enjoyed listening to it.
Can't find the singer anywhere online.
