Hey Brian and Tina, thanks for trying out the Musically Challenged tonight, had a blast putting it together. WOW I stumped you… lol. I'll make the next one a little easier for ya. Cheers, Ian
Well done. This is definitely the first time EVER that I got a higher score than Brian.
Thanks for playing the request Brian. Just a slight correction. The song is from an advert for John Lewis, who are a medium to high end department store chain here in the UK.
I'll be intentionally slightly vague here in case someone accidentally sees this comment before listening to the podcast:
Brian, regarding the trivia: there was a song where you couldn't figure out how it fit into the theme. Don't over think it. The song's title is straight forward and literal. If you need a hint, re-watch the opening sequence in Office Space.
I love David Bowie! I know many people aren’t as keen on his more recent releases, but I think Heathen and Reality are both amazing albums. I have to admit, Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust are my favourite two, but after 50 years of making music, you have to admit that the thin white duke’s still got it!
