It’s an Originalville! No, it’s a Cover Story! No, it’s a Hall Of Fame show! It’s the peanut butter in your chocolate, and the buzzing in your ear, it’s Coverville 700, and an introduction to Coverville!

this was really nice. it is amazing how fast time has passed, 500 seems just like yesterday!! what a wonderful way to present what coverville is, and how difficult too to have to choose the tracks, it would be fun to poll readers on tracklisting for their version of introductionville. i am sure you would be having a large set of tracks you would have wanted on this show. kudos, brian!!
Everything I love about Coverville in 65 minutes… Brian, you ROCK!!
Hey, Brian -GREAT show; great introduction to Coverville. But are you going to have the song list beyond the 3 Originalville cuts?
Great #700 show! Though I was listening to REM’s “I Am Superman”, and I have to say based on your definition of tribute versus a cover, REM’s is more of a tribute.
Wow! That’s a lot of podcasts. Excellent choices and always fun to listen to. Congrats on the milestone, Brian. I tell everyone about this amazing podcast.
Really nice show B. potatoes and gravy man lots of good gravy…/\/\
Congratulations Brian! 700 episodes is an amazing milestone.
I’ve been listening since episode 35 or so. Looking forward to #1000!
Keep up the great work.
Great Show! All the best things about Coverville rolled up in one episode!
Congrats Brian. I am burning a copy of this episode (as suggested indirectly at the beginning of the show) to give to friends to get them hooked on Coverville.
Great show, I’m so glad I found you (through Scott Johnson’s shows).
Cheers.
A terrific way to sum up 700 episodes! I always enjoy the show, and I especially enjoyed this “introduction” even though I’ve been listening since the episodes were in the double digits. BTW – the Gloria Jones track is now available in digital format. (I found it on eMusic today.) As with many great tracks, I never knew about it before Coverville. Thanks!
