I think you confused some Billy Ocean songs with Eddy Grant.
Ahh yer killin’ me Brian. Let me start off by saying this is an amazing episode. Love it.
With that out of the way I do have to make on correction. It was Billy Ocean and NOT Eddie Grant that sang “Get Outta My Dreams (Get In To My Car)”.
Sorry I just had to say it.
Keep on Coverin’
Cheers,
Dave
Lol damn me and my reactiveness. I retract my scolding. But not my praise. Excellent show.
Don’t feel too bad about that Billy Ocean Faux Pas Brian. Like a cat though, you only have 9 80’s mistakes you can make before you will be re-programmed to only like the car crash that was the 1990’s. Incidentally, that eddy Grant song was a hit in the UK (number 7) and a top 10 hit in 6 other European countries including being number 1 in Holland. Shame on the USA for not buying it too! Banned in south Africa by the way by the then Apartheid government.
Let’s cross our fingers for the chatroom on Thursday. Mind you, I often talk to myself!!
Brian – I think, as recompense for your Eddy Grant/Billy Ocean confusion, you need to find a cover of Electric Avenue AND a Billy Ocean song of your choice. At least you caught it.
Oh, I need that Beach Boys cover! And so would Fred Hembeck.
I love the a capella shows! More please!
Where can you purchase iNtrmzzo music? Their site doesn’t seem to have digital tracks or CDs to purchase…
I too would love to know where you picked up the iNtrmzzo album…it’s not on Amazon or iTunes…
Hey there,
At the moment our cd is sold out! And we’re, not yet, available on iTunes….sorry. Please mail me with your requests and I’ll see what I can do, ok?

Wow, awesome Capellaville episode! One of your best, Brian.
LOVED Dave Verdick’s “Coverpella”!!!
