Great show as usual, but Japan’s cover of I Second That Emotion is still my favorite.
Completely forgot about that Massive Attack cover. Awesome! “Batman Forever” and “Batman & Robin” were such horrible movies but at least they had good soundtracks.
“I Heard It Through The Grapevine” was written by Barrett Strong, wasn’t it?

Yes, it was. That’s why you’ll notice a very hasty edit at the beginning of that track. I thought I took out all evidence of my gaffe in calling that a song written by Smokey. I must have missed another mention.
Late once again — still catching up, but I have a bonus tracks request!
How about the Go West cover of “Tracks of My Tears” from the Aces and Kings collection? I know they are best remembered for “We Close our Eyes” but the cover is great!
