  1. Just like Appslappy, Coverville always makes me spend more money. My favorite track of the show was #8, Tupelo Honey. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of Cassandra Wilson. I love her voice and now this makes me want to hear the original song since I’ve never heard it.

    Thanks again for bringing it!

  2. Renee – check out the Cassandra Wilson album New Moon Daughter. Great covers of Harvest Moon (Neil Young)and Last Train to Clarksville (Monkees)!
Brian- thanks for the Nylons’ cut. I love the Perry Mason theme.

  3. The ‘London Bridge’ cover was far more entertaining than the original. Loved it. As for ‘Take a Chance on Me’, I still get annoyed by covers where the artist didn’t bother to learn the real lyrics. I mean, I can see altering the words to shift the meaning or whatever, but simply getting them wrong is just laziness. Now, The Nylons I saw live when they were touring with the Bee Gees back in the 80s, and ‘One Size Fits All’ is some of their best, however, their version of ‘God Only Knows’ is by far my favorite and I hope Brian gets it on the show some day!
