The first show of 2012 is appropriately enough, an All-Request Show! (Correction: Looks like I was misled about the Voltaire track being a cover. It’s not a cover, but it’s still excellent. Sorry for the misinformation)

“Blue-Eyed Matador” is not a cover. Voltaire is the original artist. Looks like some YouTube user set video clips from the Evita film and Madonna’s “Take A Bow” video to the song, but otherwise it has no connection to Madonna or Andrew Lloyd Weber… he didn’t write it and she’s never performed it.
Ah, crud. Love the song, so I’m glad it got played, but I’ll post a correction.
Thanks for pointing that out.
I’d almost driven myself mad trying to find the original anywhere. 😐
Saw that Baggy Trousers one here on the TV ads, don’t know why I did not tell you. In fact, it seems to be that a cover is the preferred means of getting music onto ads here. Will make sure I tell you about those I see in future!
I loved that Voltaire song too – the world is better for hearing that so no harm caused.
Questions (CSNY) is really a continuation of Carry On, from Deja Vu.
The Chicago song really is, as you stated: Does anybody really know what time it is. But there IS a Chicago song called Questions 67 and 68 from the 1st (Chicago Transit Authority) album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qupeVLtXWLY
There’s also a song called Question by the Moody Blues.
