  1. I’m a huge Beatles fan, but every time I listen to Paul’s solo work I’m struck by how much he needed John’s edge to temper his sappy, often lazy songwriting. He runs the gamut from brilliant rock ballads like “Maybe I’m Amazed” to crap like “Let ‘Em In”, which sounds like a ditty you noodle over with your ukulele on the couch but don’t release on a commercial album. Still I love you, Sir Paul!
