Hey, Brian, I hate to tell you this, but I didn’t request the Dash Rip Rock song. I DID discover it was Dizzy Miss Lizzy you played on the previous show, and let you know about that. I don’t know WHO requested it. Indeed, at the time, you expressed surprise that the actual requester did not bring it to your attention. That said, it was enjoyable.

I was wondering who’d asked for the Shelby Lynne, which has been a favorite of mine for some time.
While Woody Guthrie wrote the lyrics to “Deportee (Plane Wreck at Los Gatos)”, the music was written 10 years later by Martin Hoffman (after Woody stopped performing). Woody never recorded the song and it was initially popularized by his buddy Pete Seeger.
