    The mother of one of my closest friends is in a band (Ozone Quartet: http://www.ozonequartet.com/) whose bassist (stick-ist?) plays the stick. The first time I saw them play, being a bassist myself (me of the 4-string variety), I thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. Thanks for sharing! That was really fun.
