This is amazing stuff. Jon Baglo, an 18-year-old from British Columbia, is a virtuoso in several instruments, including guitar, bass guitar, piano and drums. And through the magic of multi-track, has assembled a spot-on cover of Boston’s “Foreplay/Long Time”, which he’s posted on YouTube.
Here’s the video:
Jon's talent is greater than this 42-year-old wants to think about. However, the lead singer impressed me the most.
Wow isn't a big enough word for that! I just can't get my head around how I can't get any damned sense out of a guitar at 40, yet this kid is just an absolute master. Of course he has talent, lots of it. I thought that guy who plays Dire Straits was good, but this kid just set the bar. Some serious kittage too in that studio.
And yes, the lead singer was awesome.
More of this stuff please Brian.
I don't know where I am, or how I got here, and I don't see Brian Ibbott anywhere, but that video was incredible. INCREDIBLE.
Dude! Wow! pretty freakin sweet.
yea, it just makes me thing Boston was not all that GREAT… do that with a Yes song maybe…
There are certainly some quirks from the original that seem very difficult to reproduce that you won't find on sheet music. With that said, this is impressive for anyone to do, let alone an 18-year old. Makes me forget how awesome this song truly is, time to pop a visit to itunes.
Dude that was absoulty AMAZING!!!!!!!
