  1. That cover of Papa was a Rodeo (brilliant) got me to finally check out the originals. Really not sure if I will acquire a taste for the Magnetic Fields in the raw. However, I do listen to Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen, so…

  2. Introspective came out in 1988 and didn't feature that Curt Weill track, though it is on the re-release. worth noting this if anyone is looking to buy the CD.

    Oh and a Pet Shop Boys cover story would be just fantastic!

  3. Loved that you played Kelly Hogan, who herself is no stranger to covers. She did "I'm a little bit country" with John Wesley Harding and her old band The Jody Grind did about 50% covers.
