Chris, Thanks for including me in the Janis retrospective. I’m humbled and honored. Working on a new solo CD that will released in the next few months.
Hey for those of you interested in a lot more on Janis Joplin, her career and development coming through Austin, see KUT’s October 1st broadcast of an hour long retrospective on Texas Music Matters (broadcast 10-1-2010, Noon CDT and 11pm), available in archive

Wow, I don’t think I’ve heard that Slade track since I moved out of my parents’ house. That’s one of four Slade albums that I bought on vinyl back in high school–it’s about as old as I am.
Bluesiest Coverville episode ever. And long overdue. (Listening to it for the fourth time.)
